Refund & Return Policy

Thank you for visiting the Smart Tax website and reviewing our Refund & Return (“Policy”).

When you first sign up for access to SmartTax you can evaluate the services under the defined trial usage conditions, with no obligation to continue to use the services. If you choose to continue using the services thereafter, you will be billed from the day you first added your billing details into the services.

If you choose not to continue using the services, you may delete your organisation in the ‘Administration’ section of the services. Please use the trial period to make sure that the services meets your needs before payment made.

All of our services is functional during the trial period

During your trial period, our support staff is available to assist in setup and configuration via email or telephone. We strongly recommend that all customers to test the systems during the trial period given prior to making a purchase.

No refund will be made once a purchase is made

It is up to the customer purchasing the services to evaluate a fit of the systems during the trial period. Once purchase is made, its non-refundable and non-transferable.

In rare instances and only within 30 days of purchase, if due to technical difficulties or platform incompatibilities the systems will not function, we may, at our discretion, issue a refund. In such instances, we require that you provide enough information for us to positively identify your purchase transaction (e.g., order number, your company name, date of transaction, purchase code, etc.). If we are able to positively identify your order, and if your request is made within 30 days of purchase, you must submit to us an email at refund@smarttax.com.my before we will process the refund.

SmartTax is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdirected mail or email, delays for downloading, or other communication system delays.

Acceptance of this Refund Policy

It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with this refund policy. By subscribing to any of our services, you indicate that you have read this refund policy and that you agree with and fully accept the terms of this refund policy. By subscribing to any of our services, you also indicate that you have read and you agree with and fully accept the terms of agreement of the services.

If you do not agree with or fully accept the terms of this refund policy, we ask that you do not subscribe the services with us.
